2219 Kupfer ist der Hauptlegierungsbestandteil von 2219. Es ist im Vergleich zu den meisten Aluminiumlegierungen sehr stark und hat eine durchschnittliche Bearbeitbarkeit, aber die Kupferkomponente macht es anfällig für Korrosion.
Die Dicke kann 280 mm . erreichen (11") Niedrige Porosität Hervorragende Anti-Ermüdungseigenschaft, Leichte, halbglatte Oberfläche
Geringe Restspannung Verändert die Form nach dem Prozess nicht Hohe Festigkeit, Zähigkeit und Duktilität
